This is one of GP's most well loved meditations.

It is a very gentle guide into the deepest parts of ourselves, revealing all of ways we have mistaken substance for shadow, the relative for some absolute, the costume the truth is wearing for the truth itself.

It is like the moon reflected in the still waters of a small lake. It is so vivid and perfect in its reflection that we may mistake it for the original. Yet disturb the water and the moon disappears.

This illustrates the need for a clean, clear mind that can perfectly reflect the original.

The original is you.

The reflection is your huban life.
