We Teach Love
We Teach Love
Gandhi said "Be the change you want to see in the world."
We say we want to see more and more and more love. It is so obvious that that alone is the answer and it is that which humanity is yearning for. So we strive to be love, to embody love and thus teach love.
True teaching is not a transfer of information from one mind to another. Information is like unformed clay. Some hand is needed to shape it and put it to use.
So we teach pointers.
It is more of a transmission from heart to heart and soul to soul. We can’t teach love like it is some kind of knowledge. We can only point in its direction and say...
“Look over there… look closely.”
“What do you see?”
“Drop opinions and concepts and just look.”
“Trust your own intuition.”
To teach love, you must simply be love.
You came from love and will return to love.
Love gave birth to this body and this world, out of her own infinite body.
It is love that is looking out through your eyes.
It is love that gives rise to every desire, every prayer, every thought, every impulse, every aspiration.
To know yourself as love is to forgive all, embrace all, accept all, allow all. It is to see as love sees.
It is to consciously, willingly be love.
At OM School We Teach Love
By Guiding You to Awaken It
The son of a schizophrenic mother and an absent father, GP’s earliest memory is being tied to his bed to keep him from wandering. The years of abuse, neglect and emotional deprivation were offset by a natural gift for and love of truth as well as an unquenchable curiosity about how it is that people really heal and awaken.
At the age of 19, he was on the verge of suicide, addicted to drugs and at the end his hope. At this dark moment, GP had an extraordinary spiritual experience that was so penetrating that, within a few months, his entire life had turned around. He refers to that day as his “Night on the Bridge” where he experienced, as he puts it, “Original Innocence.“
Since then, he has spent his life learning, studying, researching, experimenting, practicing and creating practices that liberate the soul from unnecessary and self-imposed suffering.
Even though he didn’t know it at the time, on that “Night on the Bridge”, he had been given the key to what would eventually become Inner Reconciliation.
“My experience as a child made the search for truth and healing more than philosophical curiosity. For me, it was a matter of life and death.”
A Spiritual Teacher for Confusing Times
GP is first and foremost a spiritual teacher.
From his earliest childhood traumas to his first major awakening at 19 to his discovery of Inner Reconciliation his focus has always been the same. Eliminate suffering for all beings.
“When I was graced with the profound understanding of the Original Innocence of each one of us it immediately delivered me from self-destructive, ego-centered behavior and set my feet on the path that eventually led to Inner Reconciliation.”
But GP’s life has not been one of isolation in a monastery. Far from it. He has been actively engaged in the world starting businesses, raising a family as a single father, suffering debilitating set-backs as well as enormous successes in many aspects of life.
He is truly someone who “knows the deal,” has "walked the talk" and has emerged from difficult experiences with increased wisdom, deepened compassion and his trademark, irreverent humor.
GP has a unique ability to connect and communicate with people from all walks of life wherever they are on their personal path. From simply wanting help with uncovering blocks and old patterns, all the way to the deepest existential questions of who we really are and why we are here. He explains simply and beautifully his message of love and acceptance and reminds us all that WE ARE NOT BROKEN.
“GP Walsh is a master who will leave you absolutely spellbound. As I listened to him, I laughed, cried, and felt transformed from insight after insight. He offered me a deep journey into my soul. He is a revelation to every audience who has the opportunity to experience him and I can’t recommend him enough!”
